Fretless Intonator
A free practice aid for fretless intonation and quick tuning. In intonator mode, it shows whether your pitch is centered, sharp, or flat while you listen against an optional drone. In tuner mode, it gives a slower and steadier chromatic note reading for checking absolute pitch.
Drone: drag or swipe left or right on the screen to choose the reference note. Use the Drone button to turn the sound on or off. When the drone is playing, that button changes to the selected note.
Intonator: the moving lines show how far your pitch is from the nearest note. Land in tune and the center indicator turns gold on any note and in any octave. Drift sharp or flat and the lines move away from center.
Tuner: tap Tuner for a calmer absolute pitch view. It uses the same pitch detection as intonator mode with more averaging, so the note reading can settle more accurately. The meter shows whether the note is flat, centered, or sharp.
Audio: earbuds or speakers can be used with the built in mic on iPhone, PC, and Mac. If you use speakers and a mic, keep the drone volume low to prevent it from interfering with pitch detection. Audio interfaces work on Mac, but not on iPhone.
For the best experience on iPhone: follow the web app instructions and add it to your Home Screen.
Privacy: the drone is synthesized on your device and your playing is analyzed on your device. Your microphone audio is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere, and nothing about your use is collected. The mic stays active while the app is open; close it to release the mic.
No warranty: this tool is provided free and “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Use it at your own discretion; the author is not liable for any damages arising from its use. It is a practice aid.

Install once and it opens full-screen like a real app — no browser bars.
Use earbuds so the drone doesn’t leak into the mic. Your playing is analyzed on your device and never leaves it.
